Training and Goals
  All runners are placed into training groups according to their own abilities thereby allowing them to better optimize their workouts.
 
   All runners will gain an understanding of how they may best train for cross-country racing.
 
  We will discuss goal setting and runners will have the opportunity to create goals for the upcoming season.
 
  Through individual consultation, runners can learn come specifically about their own running-related injury issues.
 
   All runners are introduced to various running tactics, strategies, and proper running techniques.
 
   Each runner will be video taped and have their stride analyzed with the goal of highlighting the efficiencies and inefficiences of his/her biomechanics.
 
   Runners will learn the benefits of cross-training; of working out in ways that compliment their running to achieve overall fitness and strength.
 
   Runners will be offered viewpoints on the ins and outs of intercollegiate and post-collegiate athletics.
